Thursday Thirteen: Wanna cuppa?
THIRTEEN GREAT COFFEE LINKS AND WEBSITES
Coffee is often the silent but very active partner in our creative endeavors, giving us that extra jolt we need to capture our brilliant thoughts and ideas on paper. It has saved my hide on more than one occasion, so I thought I’d pay homage to it here in today’s Thursday Thirteen post. Here are some coffee related links I hope you’ll enjoy.
1. Coffee Geek - Loads of news, reviews and how-tos. Coffee Geek has just about any type of information on coffee you could want.
2. Coffee Time Romance - Grab a cup of your favorite coffee then sit back and enjoy Coffee Time Romance & More’s book reviews, forums, bookstore, contests and more.
3. Virtual Coffee - An online magazine chock full of interesting articles and news about, you guessed it….coffee!
4. Tom Waits & Iggy Pop – Coffee and Cigarettes - A little bit of coffee delight you just might want to watch.
5. Coffee House Mysteries - An Internet coffeehouse for readers of Cleo Coyle’s Coffeehouse Mystery series. There’s information about the series along with interesting facts about coffee and a free weekly coffee drawing. You’ll also find information about the Haunted Bookshop, a mystery series Cleo writes under the name Alice Kimberly. Cleo Coyle is Alice Alfonsi, writing with her husband, Marc Cerasini.
6. Caribou Coffee - Caribou is probably my favorite place to get a cuppa. Yes, it’s a chain (not as big as Starbucks) but I love the product and enjoy the lodgy, northwoods decor of its stores. My absolute favorite is the Mind Condition…coffee, chocolate, mint… what more could you ask for? Mmmm…
7. Coffee Universe - Here’s another great place to learn more about coffee and how to prepare, grind and store it. Coffee Universe also features the largest on-line coffee industry database where suppliers of coffee-related products and services can list their businesses and retailers can find what they need. You can share your enthusiasm for coffee by joining their social network, My Cafe.
8. Coffee Drinking Music - This is a coffee drinking music tag from last.fm. I chose this site because you can actually listen to the music selections without having to sign up or pay for anything.
9. Just Coffee Art - Check it out. Some amazing artwork created using coffee!
10. Coffee Works - A variety of articles about coffee and tea and a bunch of yummy looking recipes to try!
11. Whole Latte Love - A great site with lots of details about espresso machines and other coffee products. Compare machines and watch live product demos so that you’re able to make an educated decision when it comes to coffee.

12. Planet Tea - Information on the origin of tea, how to prepare it, and what health benefits it provides. There are a lot of great tea links as well.
13. The Teapot Shop - Elegant Teapots with Quaint Sophistication. You’ll find beautiful teapots and sets, tea ware accessories, table accessories and gifts. I’ll take one of everything, please.

Sigh. I can’t drink either one anymore. But I still love the smell of coffee.
