Absolutely, Positively by Jayne Ann Krentz

Pocket Star Books (Simon & Schuster Inc.)

From the inside cover:  “A story that combines whimsy and mystery with a touch of the paranormal.  The strangely gifted hero is unusual and particularly intriguing because he has an unexpected and appealing streak of vulnerability for all his strength and power.  Readers will be waiting for this one.:  Library Journal

From the back cover:  Readers can always count on New York Times bestselling author Jayne Ann Krentz for nonstop entertainment.  Now, in this “cheerful escapist package combining sex and mystery” (Cosmopolitan), she delivers a winning story of romance and suspense.

Molly Abberwick, trustee of her late father’s foundation, is furious with her new consultant, scientist-philosopher Dr. Harry Stratton Trevelyan.  Harry is brilliant, sexy, and absolutely impossible–and his outrageous suggestion of a scientifically inspired affair with her is positively the last straw…Besides, Molly’s got a much more serious problem; she’s become the target of a stalker whose sinister pranks are swiftly escalating into violence.  Only Harry, of all people, seems to comprehend the true nature of the threats against his alluring boss.  As a dangerous predator closes in on Molly, the enigmatic Dr. Harry seizes the day to reveal himself in a totally unexpected light.

I really liked this story.  The heroine, Molly Abberwick, and the hero, Dr. Harry Stratton Trevelyan, are both very unique.  They are so different from the rest of the world, that they are destined to be together.  Together they fit.  Paranormal feelings play a role in this story and make it really interesting.  He starts out simply wanting to have an affair with his client, Molly, but it doesn’t quite work out that way.  Molly “gets” him.  She understands his world so much more than he thought any woman ever could.   The descriptive hot, erotic lovemaking  keeps their affair in flames on the pages of this book.  When Molly suddenly has a stalker who tries to harm her, Harry becomes protective of her and starts an investigation as to who the stalker could be.  The story is very detailed as to their relationship, their different lives, and the not-so-normal world they live in.  Jayne Ann Krentz’ writing keeps you interested from the first word to the last.

Because I will read more of Jayne Ann Krentz’ work, I give this book 3 cocktails!

I’ve read her books under Amanda Quick and love them! I remember others saying that this is one of their favorites by her. I have one book that is a two in one book, and I’m thinking I may have this one. I shall check! Thanks on the info!
