Hey, Pamela! No, you didn't sound like you were giving up writing at all. I look forward to seeing whatever you come up with next, be it writing or another form of art. :)

Oh my gosh, Marina Bychkova's dolls are amazing! I'm blown away by her talent! I shouldn't be spending so much time on it but I've been surfing from one art blog to another and discovering such incredible talent. It's very inspiring!

It's always amazing how one can start with one blog and then create another. They can become addictive.

Hope I didn't sound as if I've given up writing. Far from it. Creativity in all its forms is important to me.

Pamela, enjoyed reading your blog, too. Glad to see you like the Enchanted Doll site. Marina Bychkova's work is exquisite.

Hi, Pamela and Jacquie! It's so easy to get caught up in all of the extras like blogs and book videos, etc. and then there's little time for actually writing, drawing or whatever your chosen art form is. My goal in overhauling my blogs was to help me get more focused on my creative efforts.

Good luck with Corel Painter, Pamela. I'd like to learn how to use that better myself.

Thank you for the compliments on my blogs, Jacquie! Your Monday posts are awesome and I've learned so much from them. Keep 'em coming!

I have to say I'm astounded at your blogs--they're very well thought out, and are certainly attractive. Amazing.

I love the whole idea of CreativeEveryDay and probably should make a commitment myself. As authors, we can get so caught up in web pages, book videos, marketing plans, blogs, podcasts, mailings . . . on and on . . . we forget that we're writers! Sheeesh. So your blog entry really spoke to me.

Glad to see I'm not the only one overhauling her site! :-) I've decided to focus mine more on writing and use DeviantArt and Storm Artists to "showcase" *cough* my art and photography.

Good luck with the CreativeEveryDay challenge. I might join, but right now my focus is to actually work through my art instruction books and to improve my skills with Corel Painter, using the magazine tutorials, etc.

Happy New Year!
