I’m doing something a bit different for this week’s TT. I hope you all will give it a try! And as usual, write in comments or leave me a link to your site and I’ll come to you.
I’m going to write one word below.
Based on that one word, take one minute to write anything that comes to mind. Don’t think about it, just write.
If you have a timer to buzz you when time is up, set it now.
The word is…
NIGHTMARE
****

I had a very busy day today. When I got home, I checked in and I put your prompt to the test.
In one minute’s time, I didn’t get very far….but it was fun and she’s up.
I hope everyone had a beautiful day today.
whoops….forgot the link….

Thanks for doing the prompt, Robin! I’m off to your site now:)
Oh, I LOVE this–this is awesome–thank you…variety is always good…
I may be late because we got back form a long distance trip late last night and I am still unpacking and organising…but I could not resist a peek at the prompt today–and once I saw it–I had to finish it…here you go…enjoy!

Jane, sorry left a message for you in contact. Couldn’t find link earlier. Here’s my contribution. http://www.myspace.com/storyguidetlc.
Fantastic, Tabitha! I’m off to read what you’ve written right now;) I’m glad you enjoyed this weeks prompt…
Hi Traci! I’m sorry I’m late getting this, I haven’t checked TL mail yet. I’ll hop on over to your site to read your exercise soon as I’ve read Tabitha’s. Thanks for writing!
Just got to your page now, Traci. I had trouble getting there for just one second until I realized the url wasn’t working because you put a period at the end. Leave off the period and the link is fine:)
Nightmare
I’ve unleashed a Pandora’s box in my mind. If it were the drugs or alcohol, I’d say that I have an excuse, but it’s not. My own personal demons are coming to the forefront, tired of being trapped in the basement of my subconscious. They want air. They want to escape.
I didn’t get very far, either.
Still, it was fun and a good way to warm up the creative mind for the daily writing tasks.
Hi Pamela! I went looking on your site and finally figured out that the above IS your exercise! Haha:) I thought all along you were just telling me that you’d unleashed a Pandora’s box in your mind and had written something really freaky!
I guess I’m a bit off today, either that, or you’re really on!
Great work, and I hope to see you next week!
